How Dun works with Xero

Xero handles invoicing and accounting well, but its reminder tools require you to open each invoice and send a notice yourself. What syncs from Xero

Dun imports invoice number, amount due, due date, contact name, and contact email from Xero, and tracks status changes including paid, partially paid, voided, and credited invoices. When a Xero invoice status changes to paid, Dun stops that invoice's escalation sequence immediately.

1. Connect your Xero account

Click Connect Xero in your Dun dashboard and authorize access through Xero's OAuth 2.0 screen. Dun never stores your Xero password, and the connection is ready in under a minute.

2. Invoices sync automatically

Dun imports your open Xero invoices along with their linked contacts, and checks status on an ongoing basis. Newly created invoices are picked up and added to your dashboard as they appear.

3. Overdue invoices get escalated

Once an invoice passes its due date in Xero, Dun begins its 7-stage sequence, opening with a gentle nudge and closing with a formal demand letter if the invoice remains unpaid through stage 7.
