How Dun works with FreshBooks

What syncs from FreshBooks

Dun imports invoice number, amount, due date, client name, and client email for each connected FreshBooks account, organized by the client and project structure you already use in FreshBooks. When a payment is recorded inside Dun, it writes back to FreshBooks so your accounting stays current without entering the same payment twice.

Setup in three steps

1. Connect your FreshBooks account

Click Connect FreshBooks in your Dun dashboard and authorize access through FreshBooks' OAuth screen. Dun never receives or stores your FreshBooks password.

2. Invoices sync automatically

Dun checks your FreshBooks account on an ongoing basis and adds newly created invoices to the escalation queue as they appear. When a client pays a FreshBooks invoice, Dun picks up the status change on its next check and removes it from the queue.

3. Overdue invoices get escalated

Once a FreshBooks invoice goes past due, Dun's 7-stage sequence begins, sent from your own email address and increasing in firmness at each stage, from an opening reminder to a closing formal notice.
