Stripe Invoice Reminders
How Dun works with Stripe
Stripe Invoicing sends the invoice, but nothing chases it once it is overdue. Dun connects to your Stripe account and takes on that job, listening for Stripe's payment webhooks so it knows the moment an invoice is paid rather than waiting on a periodic check.
If a client only pays part of an invoice, Dun reads the partial payment from Stripe and keeps escalating for the remaining balance instead of marking the invoice closed. Multiple Stripe accounts, one for each business you run, can be connected and managed on their own escalation schedules.
What gets synced
Dun imports invoice number, amount, due date, client email, and current payment status from Stripe. Because Dun subscribes to Stripe's webhook events rather than polling on a fixed schedule, a payment made through Stripe stops escalation within minutes, not at the next scheduled check. Dun never writes to or modifies your Stripe invoices, customers, or payment settings.
Setup in three steps
1. Connect your Stripe account
Click Connect Stripe in your Dun dashboard and authorize access on Stripe's page. The OAuth handshake finishes in under a minute, and there are no API keys to copy anywhere.
2. Invoices sync automatically
Stripe pushes a webhook to Dun the moment an invoice is created, so newly issued invoices show up in your escalation queue without a delay. There is nothing to schedule or refresh manually.
3. Overdue invoices get escalated
When a Stripe invoice passes its due date, Dun begins its 7-stage sequence, from a first-stage friendly reminder to a stage-7 formal demand letter. A webhook confirming payment, even a partial one, updates the sequence immediately.
